Smartphone app version of the website. Users can search for days out ideas from over 4000 attractions across the UK. Features a user login, ability to add favourite attractions, rate/review attractions and add your own attraction photos. The app was designed for both iOS and Android devices.

Corporate Identity Rebrand and Responsive Websites

Days Out With Kids is one of the UK's fastest growing attraction websites. I was responsible for the overall company rebrand as well as wireframes and designs for all of their online and offline entities. This includes all design from character illustrations and animations to Google ads and social media campaigns. The success of the campaigns has helped them achieve a facebook fanbase of over 635,000 likes. I also designed their successful ticket sales platform and loyalty card scheme.

Event Finder App (iOS & Android)

I lead the concept and design pitch to O2 for an event app while at Velti Mobile Marketing agency. We won the pitch. I was involved with wireframing and shared design responsibilities with another designer in my team. The app is designed for both iOS and Android devices. The app allows users to find events, book tickets, pre-book drinks and see who else is attending the event.

Opening Times Application for Smartphone (iOS)

iOS app version of the iOpeningTimes website. Users can find the opening times for any of the major stores in the UK. The app is essentially the same as the website but with additional features such as a user login, the ability to add to favourites and find other nearby store times. The app is designed for iOS devices and is still in development..

The iGroup - iSites

Online Business Directory(Mobile Website)

The iGroup is one of the UK's leading business directories consisting of 50 local county sites (iDorset, iLondon etc.) I redesigned their website to be fully responsive and mobile-optimised. Because of the sheer scale of the project, only the mobile versions of the sites have been launched thus far.

‘Companion’ Application for Smartphone (Concept)

The concept was for a smartphone app presence to compete with apps such as Easy Jet and British Airways. The central theme was an interactive spinning globe around which users could track flights in real-time, book flights on the go, view destination information, as well as receive a personalised countdown feature from the purchase of their ticket right up to the minute of their flight. Other features on the app would include a check-in feature, destination weather reports and social feeds.

Game Application for iPhone & iPad

This is a puzzle gaming app I designed for iPhone and iPad. The game features over 600 different puzzles across 5 categories. Players gain credits by completing the puzzles, allowing them to unlock more levels and more famous face puzzles. If players get stuck, players can purchase hints using their credits. Walkers Crisps - Gary's Great Ingredient Hunt

Online Promotional Competition (Responsive Website)

The theme of the campaign is of Gary Lineker who has lost his Walkers ingredients in different places around the UK and republic of Ireland, and he needs the user's help to find them. Users can simply purchase a pack of Walkers crisps, sign in on the site and enter the code from inside the pack to play the game. The site scales responsively across all platforms and works across all the latest browsers. It is a massive project involving unique asset production for every county in the UK and ROI, as well as unique prize assets. I am particularly proud of the design on this project due to the scale and complexity of it. Over 100 unique counties!

Redesign of Vodafone’s current My Vodafone app for BlackBerry smartphones. The challenge was to retro-fit the design and features from the iOS and Android app to BlackBerry specifications.

Web Application for Smartphone & Tablet (Concept)

Web app concept for Ford. The challenge was to redesign their existing mobile solution to better reflect their current desktop site and catalogue. Ford’s desire was for users to be able to easily browse through their car range from the home screen. Users can view basic car price information on the home screen, and view more detailed specs and image galleries within 2 taps. Global site navigation slides in from the left while page-specific navigation slides in from the right.

Activision - Skylanders Swap Force

Toy Collection Application for Smartphone (Concept)

Activision asked for a smartphone app to help generate interest in their latest range of Skylanders toys: Skylanders Swap Force, thus generating more toy sales. The challenge was to design an app that allows children to view their collected Skylander toys and compare their stats with their friends, while allowing parents administrator abilities to monitor their child’s collection. Another feature for parents is the ability to reward their child for good work/behaviour by gifting a toy. Other features include an AR function for children to “spot” Skylander toys in store. They would then be awarded “Spotter Badges” which would be shown on their stats for them to compare with their friends.

Telenet

Coupon Application for Smartphone (Concept)

Smartphone app concept for Belgian telecommunications company Telenet. The challenge was to design a coupon/voucher app similar in function to O2’s Priority moments app, by which users would be able to define their coupon preferences by category and then list activities and information based on the user’s current location and category preferences. Users could then generate and claim the coupon to use at their selected Telenet-endorsed location.
